Getting to the island
Book flights to Corfu International Airport.
Take a ferry or pre-booked water taxi to Gaios.
Collect a hire car or moped, or arrange a local taxi.
Seasonal passenger ferries run from Corfu Town to Gaios. Timetables for September 2027 may not be published until closer to the date; however, please ensure you leave a generous connection from your flight and book once schedules open.
Please see the links below for ferry schedules and tickets. We recommend Ferryhopper.
We recommend pre-booking once schedules open and allowing at least two hours between landing at Corfu Airport and your ferry departure from Corfu Town. Private sea taxis are also available for groups or late arrivals.
Paxos is compact, but a hire car or moped makes beaches, villages and evening journeys much easier. Vehicles are limited in summer, so pre-book where possible.
Make a holiday of it
Most of the wedding events will take place near Loggos, so we highly recommend you stay close to Loggos.

Find your bearings
Key wedding venues, main towns, selected hotels and the ferry port are marked here as a simple visual guide to the island. The markers are intentionally static — use them for orientation rather than navigation.

Swim, potter, paddle, repeat
A relaxed shortlist of beaches, boat days, villages, walks, places to eat and the island’s wilder corners — all laid out below so it is easy to browse at a glance.
Pebble coves, glassy water and a very loose plan.
Boat first, timetable second.
Three villages, each with its own pace.
Cliffs, caves and bigger views.
Olive shade, old paths and a few proper shoes.
Ridiculously blue water, with lunch somewhere in the middle.
Harbour tables, inland tavernas and no reason to rush.
Suggestions are drawn from current island and travel guides. Opening days, seasonal services, paths and sea conditions can change, so check locally before setting off. Visit Paxos · The Thinking Traveller · Ionian Island Holidays · Paxos Retreats

Paxos · September 2027Good to know
Thursday: smart casual for welcome drinks.
Friday: summer suits and dresses for the wedding day.
Saturday: smart summer swimwear for The Second Wave.
Corfu International Airport is the usual gateway. From Corfu, continue to Paxos by ferry or water taxi.
Most celebrations will take place near Loggos, so we highly recommend staying close to Loggos.
Taxis are scarce on Paxos, so we highly recommend hiring a car or moped. It will make getting between villages, beaches and evening plans much easier.
We will release details about transport to and from the wedding events closer to the time.
Accommodation can be limited, especially for larger groups. Booking early is sensible. Ferry schedules can be booked later once September 2027 services are released.
Yes. The ceremony begins at 5pm and we will add the location once it is confirmed.
Sadly, we won’t be able to accommodate children at the wedding events. If you are travelling with little ones, we can recommend local babysitters if required — please reach out and we’ll share details.
Yes. We’ll keep adding confirmed ferry schedules, event transport, ceremony details and registry information as plans are finalised, so please check back closer to September.
